About the Foundation:
The Five Horizons Foundation was founded on the principal that good people can do great things! Have you ever wanted to make a difference? Sometimes, the hardest part about doing something great is finding the right people to help and support you. Five Horizons has three primary goals: 1.) Help other existing Non-Profits through Fundraising. 2) Take on special projects that benefit local communities. 3.) To raise awareness of important issues via social media and local events.
The Five Horizons Foundation was founded by its current President, Joe Little. Click here to read his bio. After a successful social media campaign around the rock band Pearl Jam, Joe decided to start leveraging his access to the worlds greatest fans to do some good. When his son, Mack, was diagnosed with Autism in 2012, he became highly motivated to focus his energy on making a difference in the lives of children and parents undergoing the same struggle. From that, The Five Horizons Foundation was born!
Our Vision: Ever give to a charity and then wonder where the money goes? Worse, ever volunteer, commit time and resources, and then later wonder if it was the most effective use of your time? This organization was formed with the goal of reinforcing all of the good reasons you wanted give of yourself in the first place. Every dollar given to the Foundation will be stretched to the fullest to benefit a cause that has been clearly identified to the donor. We are 100% transparent and happy to share financials, goals, and future plans with anyone who is interested.
